We were really pleased to win two awards at the Women in Financial Advice Awards 2021.
The award ceremony took place in London on 7 October and the awards themselves, which are now in their third year, celebrate the achievements of women working in the financial advice community and those in the financial services sectors that can help to provide solutions for clients. We have enjoyed success at these awards in the past, have scooped six award category wins in the previous two years.
This year we had seven of our employees who were shortlisted across nine award categories and enjoyed success with Emma McNally winning the award for Financial Adviser of the Year for the South West and Sharon Hamilton winning the award for Woman of the Year for Paraplanning. Paraplanning is an important support role for Financial Advisers, and Chase de Vere Paraplanners are highly qualified and assist Advisers in writing financial reports for their clients.
We must also mention Catriona Smith, who was highly commended in the Financial Adviser of the Year for Scotland & Northern Ireland category. This is an award which Catriona has won in the previous two years.
Well done also to our other finalists, Rachel Sartin, Rebecca Dorrian, Laura Garry and Aimee McTaggart. We are very proud of all of them.
Stephen Kavanagh, Chief Executive of Chase de Vere, says, “We want to continue to support all of our employees and to give them the opportunity to develop their careers at Chase de Vere. This is welcomed by our employees and also helps us to provide an even better service for our clients. We employ some of the very best female professionals in the industry, across our advisers and the different roles which support them, and I’m really pleased to see this has, again, been independently recognised, with further successes in these important awards”.
